LZI provided consulting services that included performing a comprehensive roofing assessment of four campus buildings of construction type II and III, constructed between 1952 and 1992 and totaling approximately 237,000 GSF. Roof types included single-ply TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin) and PVC (polyvinyl chloride), asphalt BUR (built-up roof) with mineral surfaced cap sheet, aluminum coating and emulsion recover, SBS (styrene butadiene styrene) modified bitumen and traffic coating over concrete deck.  Some roof areas contained ballasted photovoltaic panels.  Our services included review of as-built construction drawings and prior reports, a site investigation to document the existing conditions, and development of roof assessment report with detailed repair recommendations for imitate, short term and long term durations.
