LZI provided waterproofing consulting for the podium deck remediation of a 13,700 sq. ft. deck located partially over occupied interior space with reported water intrusion and drainage issues. Our services included site investigation to document the as-built construction, review of repair documents including slope and drainage study, mock-ups and construction administration. Project challenges included accommodating geometry constraints due to the as-built construction, drainage configuration, and site exposure affecting substrate conditions.
