LZI provided roof consulting services for the re-roof of a Bermuda style copper panel roof for an occupied one-story, slab-on-grade civic building with reported water intrusion issues. Our services included site investigation to document the as-built construction, development of repair scoping documents, mock-ups and construction administration. Project challenges included simulating the distinct Bermuda style roof using a single-ply thermoplastic roofing assembly while maintaining performance requirements including wind uplift.
