David Perez is well versed in identifying solutions to various issues pertaining to building enclosure elements including roofing, below-grade and horizontal waterproofing systems, air barriers, fenestrations, and expansion joints with a focus on existing structures and new construction.
With a practical, solution-oriented approach, Mr. Perez develops strategies for effectively integrating building enclosure systems and provides design support to navigate the obstacles encountered during the construction process. He has consulted on various projects including the HOAG Hospital multi-phased campus expansion in Irvine, enhancements for Kaiser Permanente Medical Office Buildings in Los Angeles, various renovation projects at California State Northridge, and the iconic Los Angeles Union Station.
Mr. Perez is a member of IIBEC and holds a Registered Roof Observer (RRO) credential from IIBEC, qualifying his role as an on-site quality assurance monitor for roofing-related projects. He champions team synergy, and his building enclosure expertise and diverse project experience contribute to developing successful, and resilient buildings.
